Sad City Girls

Lihi moves to Tel Aviv and realizes she needs to find a roommate that very same day. She meets Leah, who takes her out for a night on the town, and by the end of it, Lihi fulfills a long-held dream.

Leah encourages Lihi to go to Inbar’s surprise party. Lihi and Inbar skip the surprise party and spend the evening at Burger King. Leah disrupts the budding relationship, and Lihi demands that she leave the apartment.

Lihi receives a mistaken reserve duty summons and reports for duty to escape the stress at home and at work. Leah discovers that her ultra-Orthodox father’s store is about to be shut down and travels to Mea Shearim to try to save both the store and him.

Inbar tells Lihi that she’s coming over to sleep over for the first time. Lihi discovers that Nadav has been storing furniture in the apartment and enlists Leah to help clear it out.

Nadav pressures Lihi and Leah to pay him back. Lihi finds out too late about an important test she hasn't prepared for. Leah takes on a scholarship program working with at-risk girls.

Due to a flea infestation in the building, Lihi goes back to her parents' place for the night. When Leah joins her, the rift that has developed between Lihi and her parents after months of living apart becomes apparent.

As a birthday present, Arlet invites Leah on a vacation to Eilat. Lihi joins them and meets Inbar there. Leah is forced to confront the truth she has been suppressing about her mother.

Chen calls off the wedding and tells Lihi that she wants to move in with her. When Leah hears about this, she convinces Lihi that they need to find Chen another apartment in the building so they can continue living together.

Leah asks Lihi to join her on a trip to Jerusalem to confront a painful wound from the past. They set out on a journey together, and by the end of it, they make decisions about the future of their relationship.

Leah shows up at Chen's wedding uninvited, and Lihi demands that she leave the event. Leah insists on mending her friendship with Lihi, while Lihi is suspicious of her motives.
