Love Has Fireworks

Investment banker Qian Fei is having a meal at a noodle shop when she happens to cross paths with an investment banking elite, Li Yifei, leaving her with an exaggeratedly negative impression of him. Qian Fei is taken by her director, Fang Yun, to a bidding venue, where Li Yifei rushes in through the back entrance to save time, crashes into Qian Fei, and breaks her phone.

After Qian Fei breaks up with Wang Ruohai, she packs her things and moves to her new place, only to find that her new flatmate is Li Yifei.

After learning that Qian Fei has been fired, Li Yifei suspects his father is behind it and returns to the family mansion to confront him.

After breaking up, Li Yifei throws himself into work. He focuses on discovering the reason Shanlifang chooses to have a joint sponsorship.

Li Yifei calls an electrician to fix the circuit. Qian Fei thinks it's a waste of money, but Li Yifei argues that time is more valuable than money.

With Li Yifei's help, Qian Fei works through the night to revise her research report and feels deeply grateful to him. Da Jun tells Li Yifei that he's fallen for Dang Yu, and also suspects that Li Yifei has feelings for Qian Fei. However, Li Yifei remains completely oblivious to it himself.

Qian Fei goes to Chengdu to find Shanlifang's ex employee and meets Li Yifei at the airport. Both people think there's something wrong about Shanlifang's financial report and decide to work together.

Li Yifei pleads for Qian Fei and suggests that Fang Yun lay their cards down with him. Qian Fei is reinstated as she wished.

After Da Jun points out the changes in his behavior lately, Li Yifei finally realizes that he's fallen for Qian Fei.

After learning that Wang Ruohai has joined Shanlifang, Qian Fei finds herself reminiscing about their time together when they were deeply in love. Li Yifei comes to comfort her. Qian Fei thanks him for his help.

In the company, Qian Fei deliberately keeps a distance from Li Yifei. However, she admires his capabilities. She plans to work hard and follow in his footsteps.

Li Yifei tells Da Jun that liking someone doesn't necessarily mean they need to court them. Qian Fei intends to focus on her career. Li Yifei intends to respect her decision.

Li Yifei asks Qian Fei why she's suddenly gone cold toward him. Qian Fei tells him she doesn't want to be used again. Li Yifei patiently explains his actions and intentions, and eventually earns Qian Fei's understanding.

On their way to work, Qian Fei buys a pancake. Li Yifei, who never intends to eat, snatches her pancake and starts eating. His obsession with cleanliness and OCD has completely disappeared.

Wang Ruohai goes to Qian Fei's house and asks her to return the 500,000 loan she owes him. He even advises her to quit the Shanlifang project team.

Da Jun presses Dang Yu to explain why she thinks he's not good enough. Dang Yu tells him that he blindly follows his mother's wishes and lacks the ability to think independently. She rejects his confession once again.

Fang Yun asks Qian Fei to apologize to Liao Shiyu for the sake of the company, but Qian Fei refuses. She insists that she did nothing wrong in her personal affairs.

Li Yifei realizes that he has been changing for Qian Fei through his habits. He encourages Da Jun to go after Tang Yu. Li Yifei and Da Jun both cheer for each other.

To calm the public backlash, Dang Yu goes live and publicly apologizes, but she ends up being targeted by online trolls. Determined to stand by her, Da Jun reveals his identity during a livestream and openly speaks up in her defense, In doing so, he finally wins her favor.

A video suddenly surfaces online, showing Liao Shiyu violently assaulting Qian Fei, who had come to apologize, in a garage. Wang Ruohai seizes the opportunity to have Liao Shiyu kick Qian Fei off the project team.

Qian Fei and Li Yifei go to a stand-up comedy show together. Their playful banter brings them even closer.

Qian Fei asks Jingjing why she broke up with Lu Ze. Lu Ze still can't let go of Jingjing and calls Qian Fei to try to reconcile with Jingjing.

To get Qian Fei to cook for him, Li Yifei offers to tutor her for the sponsor representative exam in exchange. They grow increasingly at ease with each other.

Qian Fei's father calls her and asks her whether the guy she brought with her to the blind date was her boyfriend. Lifei appears and pretends to be Qian Fei's boyfriend voluntarily.

Lu Ze goes for various job interviews but to no avail. Yao Jingjing encourages him. They cherish each other.

The Charity Gala goes on as planned. Qian Fei blends into the venue as a waiter and hopes Liao Shiyu can read the apology speech she wrote.

Li Yifei insists on driving Qian Fei to the airport despite her objection. He also tells her that Jin Zi isn't his girlfriend. It causes Qian Fei to think that he just has something to hide.

Li Yifei is selecting flowers at a florist. He calls Qian Fei on Valentine's Day. Qian Fei exposes him and asks him whether he's trying to wish her a happy Valentine's Day.

Qian Fei is designated as the culprit who leaked the company's info to Dian Sansan. Qian Fei wants to prove her innocence but to no avail. In the end, she gets fired.

Li Yifei goes out of his way to prepare a birthday meal for Qian Fei himself. They enjoy a wonderful birthday together. Just as Li Yifei is about to confess his feelings, a call from Qian Fei's father interrupts the moment.

While buried in work, Li Yifei also tries to sort out his feelings for Qian Fei and make sense of where they stand.

Qian Fei takes the opportunity to attend the interview and successfully lands her ideal job.

Li Yifei is involved in a legal case due to work negligence. To help Li Yifei acquire key evidence of his innocence, Qian Fei rushes to Taoyuanxi alone to retrieve her old computer.

Qian Fei starts her new job. When she leaves the office, she finds Li Yifei waiting outside with a bouquet of flowers. Feeling embarrassed, she pretends not to know him.

Qian Fei receives a text from Wang Ruohai and decides to sell her house to help Wang's mother with her kidney transplant.

Li Qiansheng sees that his son is now capable of standing on his own and finally acknowledges him. Qian Fei discovers Li Yifei's true identity.
