Overview
Broadway star and notorious narcissist Richard Bean suffers a spectacular public meltdown and returns to his hometown and the family-run theater where he first became aware of his own brilliance. When he arrives, he is shocked to discover that his father, the former artistic director, has lost a step and that the once-respected theater, now run by his brother Jon and his wife (now the town's mayor). has become, by necessity, a low-rent dinner theater serving roast beef and murder mysteries. He decides to save the town, the theater and the world by presenting a great American classic on the dinner theater stage, directed by and starring, of course, Richard Bean.

Broadway star Richard Bean suffers a public meltdown and returns to his hometown theater where he first discovered his brilliance. He's shocked to find the once-respected theater, now run by his brother Jon and ex Kristen, has become a dinner theater.
2. Swan Song
Richard begs Alvy for a Broadway return while tensions with Kristen escalate. Miranda struggles between acting and Penn. Kristen faces a shady developer. Richard produces his mother's funeral, making a shocking announcement.
3. Juniper Berries
As Richard plans his Our Town, Jon tries to rein him in. Boyle offers Kristen a payment holiday for a dinner invite. Richard's fundraising falters but is hopeful after an evening onstage. Boyle drops a bombshell at dinner.
4. Big Spender
Tensions escalate between Kristen and Richard; auditions reveal Millersburg's shrinking talent pool; Miranda's protests complicate Kristen's deal with Boyle; Boyle blindsides Richard with a demand.

After the casino vote Richard's production undergoes big changes and Kristen's job is on the line; Nadia chooses between Boyle and the play; Richard recruits Jon for the show; a final Circle of Truth reveals a shocking secret.

Richard and Kristen panic after the Circle of Truth revelation; Miranda is missing, and Alvy warns that theater critic Xander Young is attending opening night; Linus drops a bomb at the party that changes the Bean family forever.
