Under Pressure

Evandro is injured while trying to help a man who has been stabbed. At the hospital, a woman faints at the reception desk. Hungry, her son grabs a sandwich and is restrained by the police.

A pedestrian struck by a car and the vehicle's passengers arrive at the emergency department. Mauro is the new chief. Vera's son steals his mother's prescription pad, and Evandro receives a call from Diana.

Diana arrives with a very sick baby. Everyone suspects the baby is Evandro's. While dealing with urgent cases, the doctors decide the baby needs surgery.

A grandstand collapses, and the injured flood the hospital. Vera discovers that her son has stolen prescription pads. The doctor treats elderly patients with HIV, and Evandro promises to look after Francisco.

A fire causes patients to be transferred. Décio and his boyfriend suffer prejudice and the situation gets out of control. Amidst the chaos, Evandro looks for Francisco.
